well i have not forgot you guys with school and such i have been so busy so i have not posted much. also it is winter and i dont have a dry suit so no spearfishing for me. since i just got my drivers license in the beggining of january i plan on doing a ton of spearfishing this year. i am also looking at buying a new gun probably a 3 band one made by JBL(the northwest specail or somethin) and going to the bahamas in about 3-4 weeks and will spearfish down there. well what have you guys been up to

Hey, you should come dive with us this spring! You are only about 45 minutes away, and we will put you on big fish in clear waters. Lots of nice lakes around here.

On another note, you would be better suited to get a good gun, for about the same amount of money. PM sent.

Third, awesome news about the Bahamas! Be prepared though as spearing in the Bahama's is "NO TANKS, NO GUNS". You will have to freedive (which I hope you do already), and you will have to use a polespear. So maybe invest in a "travel" polespear model. Have a great trip. :D Flesh

thanks fleshy and if i can ask where are some of the good lakes you can send me a pm or whatever want to do a bunch of spearfishing seeing i got my license. also i will look into him for a gun and see how cheap his guns are but im kinda tight on money so i gotta find the best deal. as for the bahamas i went 2 years ago and speared some stuff and it sucks its no guns but its so much fun to see all the fish and coral and such

Oddly enough even though theres "No Tanks, No Guns" you can SPEAR lobster. Which is illegal in the USA. For me the experience of spearfishing, and hunting in generally is made better, the more primitive, the closer to nature I can come, So I like rules like that.
