Who exactly? The dolphins? Mandy & Kirk? The Japanese? And agreed with what? The killing? Or the planting of the camera?

Anyway the answers would be as follows:

1) agreeing with the killing:
a) dolphins - NO
b) Mandy & Kirk - NO
c) japanese fishers - YES

2) agreeing with planting the camera:
a) dolphins - probably did not care, but it was in their interest
b) Mandy & Kirk - apparently YES
c) japanese fishers - definitely NO

That sounds like an extraordinary accomplishment! I hope to see the film - though I can't imagine it will be pleasant viewing. :vangry

Not that i agree

But the same shit happens with shark and not much is said...plus it happens in the west....oz.....usa....south america...uk

Re: Mandy & Kirk and dolphin slaughter in Japan

But sharks don't have intelligence that rivals humans..and dolphins are mammals, like us.

I do however, disagree also with mass shark killing. It's uncalled for, but its amazing what money does to things. Sharks don't attack people on purpose, and I hate how they are stereotyped as killers.

thanks Adrian - you just can't be too careful in this day of misinformation! :head

it will be intersting to see if the OPS film-makers get int'l distribution in theaters or if it becomes a TV showing like on Discovery or other channels.
