I just bought myself a pair of Mares Razors. I used to have a pair of Mares Volo back in Hawaii and remember really liking them. Coincidentally the local shop Bamboo Reef, only has the Mares Razor and Razor Pro available for freediving fins.

Anyways, I have "normal" (not wide not narrow) feet. I wear 9 1/2 US in shoes. The size of fin this fin that fit me best was 7-8 (41-42), glad I was able to try them on. Fits great barefooted and is still comfortable with a 3mm sock.....but I haven't been able to get into the water with them just yet, too stormy, windy, rainy and cold. Soon.

I just used them down in Pacific Grove/Monterey Bay this past weekend. Water was great, good visibility.Very comfortable and fast fins. I loved them every minute.

hello do anyone know what is the differences between the mares instict pro and the razor pro ???

thanks!!!

Blade shape is a bit different and I don't think the blade can be replaced on the instinct pro. Razor pro blades can be replaced or swapped with the Razor for softer plastic or with the Razor carbon blades if you like. Three crew members and myself all used the Razor pro fins guiding three scuba dives a day plus snorkel tours and spearfishing after work all last season. We are all pleased with the ease and efficiency of these fins especially in current.
