Mares Razor pro's

I just made the switch from snorkeling fins to the Mares Razors and i was wondering if its common for your arches to ache in the begining ?
 
takes a while to get used to them. I got back in the water after 7 weeks due to bad weather and my shins are really sore. the more you do it the less pain you will feel.
