Mares Sten 11 84cm Advise Feedback

Hello everyone! I am new to spearfishing and i am planing buying some gear.I have decided the most items i want to buy but i am confused about the weapon..I surely will go with a pneumatic gun and i have in mind buying mares sten 11 84cm. I believe it is a comfortable sized overall gun and for my plans (max 8 metres) i believe it will serve me well! What i dont know is if this weapon is a easy shooting gun,reliable and the most important if i can expect shooting targets at 3 metres or longer..I am asking cause i prefer 84 than 100 but if it is very weak i will be forced to get the 100 (but i dont want). Cyrano Evo 90 is an option but it more expensive and i have read some problems with this gun.

So i wanted to know if someone owns this gun if he is satisfied if he had problems and what distance i can expect that the gun will hit targets.

I dont know if the dry barrel will benefit the gun but firtly i would like to know what is the effective hitting distance of the sten 11 84cm
cause if it is little i must take the 100cm..

Where do you live, what sort of fish do you want to shoot, how big are the fish? What is the visibility like?
There are other important matters like... does the 84 float with a spear in place or does it sink. This can be an issue if you have to force the gun into position while hunting.
Most 100cm air guns will have better buoyance & more power than a 84 but it will depend on what you want to do with the gun as too which one is best suited for you.

Thanks for answering.I will dive untill 6-8metres and generally will hunt white fishes of 1-4 kilos.The visibility is random clear and not clear in my area.
