I was looking into the new Beuchat Marlin Carbone Elite dose anyone know if its any good? oddly enough you can see pictures of it anywhere but the Buchat website.

it looks nice.. but I'm wondering the sensitivity of the trigger with loaded double 18mm bands....

One of their selling point of te new marlin trigger is the load rating and light trigger release.

I doubt marlin barrel can hold the power of double 18 bands. In addition this is a light gun and with 2x18 you will probably miss because of strong recoil.

I had Carbon Elite 115 which is a similar gun (I turned it to open muzzle). The barrel could only withstand 2x14, with 2x16 it wasn't shooting straight.

I'd consider 2x16 and 7mm RA shaft on new marlins hoping that their new barrel will be able to hold it.

I actually think Riffe Euro is a way better gun but its a bit bulky, so I think of a lighter gun for traveling.

I actually think Riffe Euro is a way better gun ...

rofl You are comparing apples with oranges. And BTW: In its category the Riffe Euro is ...., e.g., I am yet to find a person other than a five-year-old that can place his whole hand on the Riffe Euro handle :rcard

Cheers

I'm with Ulysses, not a fair comparison. I'll do some shots with the Beuchat Marlin carbon and let you know.

Hmmmmm, ............my favorite carbon gun!!!!

thanks friends. I have finished my 110 cm wooden body and attached it to my marlin handle. This weekwnd ı used it with double band (18mm -16mm) . It was perfect. There was no recoil and the trigger was very light. I have no miss in 3 day hunting trip.
