Update from Martin's website:

"whole attention is turning to Martin today. He is absolutely well-being and rested. His goal is 110m in constant ballast in aproximately two hours. After next three hours you will learn how did it ended up. Stay with us!! "

Wow... Does he have the record already at 108m?

Yes he does. Maybe he wants a bit of a buffer from his competitors future attempts.

Martin didn't make it. He had problems with his mask so he turned up in -104m.

Yes, he already had problems with the mask at his -108 record. I've read it flooded when he was at the bottom base. This time it flooded even earlier on the descent. Frankly told I was rather surprised that Martin used a mask for such deep dives, especially because he advertises liquid goggles on his website. Isn't it big wasting of air to use a mask?

I don't know? Is a mask required by Aida rules for constant weight? Or maybe he likes having the expanding air to breathe off, giving his mind and body the stimulus of a breathe to keep contractions down.
