Hey I recently brought a new mask but I'm having endless problems trying to prevent the mask from fogging I also purchased a defogging agent with the mask and have applied the agent on to the lens following the guide lines but yet it still fogs up many thanks mac

Rub toothpaste into the lenses. Then rinse it out. Then whenever you go diving put your mask on last (to stop it fogging in the sun when on your face) spit into the mask and rub it around........ Apparently the greener the cleaner........ Then quickly rinse with salt water an put on. This is what I do and I never get problems with fogging : )

You can repeat the toothpaste rub before each dive and just rinse before putting on.
It's also important to splash water to your face as soon as you can so it cools down a bit while your're getting ready to enter the water.
the fogging happens because the air inside the mask is forced to cool down as the lens get in contact with the water.
Colder air can hold less humidity so it condenses...
That's why it's better to have your face cooler from the start.
Hope this helps

put the spit in the mask before it gets wet
