Saw an old thread I had commented on and Groupermadness suggested I ask the question:

Can someone make me a mask with lenses that point slightly "up" please?
I am not a scubadiver who cant see the clusterf##k of guages strapped below his line of sight- I don't need to look at my weight belt or my crotch (some masks have this feature).
What I need is to be able to look forward without cranking my neck back at 90 degrees, either while descending, moving horizontally or especially aspetto!

Look into the technisub micromask. The lenses sit so close to your eyes that your field of vision is astonishing. I tried the stupid thing on at a dive shop, fell in love with it, and from that point on nothing else was good enough. So I dropped the $115 U.S. for it and couldn't be happier. When diving you literally see next to nothing of the skirt, sometimes you forget you're wearing a mask. I've borrowed masks since buying this one and everything feels like tunnel vision now. Just a disclaimer though, it's a perfect fit for me, but (as with all masks) I'd suggest trying it on first because it's a rather small mask and doesn't fit large faces very well.

Also, the profile of the mask is so minimal that it has next to zero drag. I wear it in ripping current and surf and can't even feel that it's there, even when my face is at 90 degrees to the current.

You won't be disappointed. If it doesn't fit, leisurepro is really good about returning stuff.

Cressi Occhio plus is a pretty good option with klow profile lenses and the lenses do seem to protrude upward some what so may be ideal for what you are after.

I had a Occio and still have a few of the similar models. It aint cuttin it!

do you have the original super occhio or the new Occhio plus? completely different mask, not one single part is in common. similar namde very different mask. but if it dont work it dont work but think its probably got the best "forward" vision of any mask around mind you i dont use one.... need perscription lenses so OMER alien it is.

check out the cressi site they have both models still for sale and gives a good comparison between the 2.

I had the original; a fine mask, but does not have what I'm thinking about. I want manufactureres to make a mask where the lenses are tilted up about 20 degrees.
