Greetings! Moving to Maui and am fishing for info...

I notice that most if not all spearos there are wearing wetsuits. What's the water temps like throughout the year?

Seems like most of the decent hunting is at 50-70ft. I'm sure this depends on the spot, but does that seem about right?

8' collapsible pole spear with an 11" paralyzer tip...adequate? I know some of the pro's will probably laugh at this...
