Went on a boat trip around lanai and out to some FADs yesterday. A long trip and we got pretty beat up on the way back but it was still a fun day all the same. Buoys didnt produce anything aside from a non productive dance with a 35lb ono. Could never get the guy to close the gap enough to take a shot.

Went to the back side of Lanai to do some reef diving and was able to conjure up some dinner. A nice uku and my first Kagami (african pampano) made for a great dinner, some prints, and awesome sashimi!

Kagamis are not too common here (only seen them twice in my 15 years of diving here) so I took the opportunity to make a couple of prints. Im not too happy with them though, red print came out way too light and the black print too dark. They should still look pretty cool when finished and mounted.
