MDC PoolMaster Apnea Challenge 2013 is the first freedive competition to be organized by MissDivers (MDC) and endorsed by AIDA Malaysia/My Apnea Divers. MDC plans to held this competition in a series of 3 pool competitions. Points from all 3 competitions will be accumulated and the Ultimate PoolMaster will be announced on the 3rd series. This competition is open to all freedivers and results will be sanctioned by AIDA International.
First series will be held on the 23-24 of March 2013 at PJ Palms Sports Center, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The dates for the other two will be announced later (tentatively on September and December).
Individual disciplines involved in this competition are Static (STA), Dynamic (DYN) and Dynamic No Fin (DNF). Athletes have to compete in all three disciplines.
We hope that this competition will help to promote freediving sports and activities in Malaysia. Freedivers from all nationalities and level are welcome to participate.
