Just upgraded my mech to a Meandros reverse mech. Haven't used it yet. Just thought I'd share the specs.
Gun: Rob Allen Snapper 110
Shaft: 150mm x 7mm stock
Rubber: Changed out the RA rubber with 14mm small I.D.

The overhang looks much better now. It's roughly 5.5cm back

Be interesting to see if you start to shoot high? I personally would be going for a spear at least 10cm, preferably 15cm longer than that.

I was using this same shaft in a 120 RA gun previously and had no issues aiming. The overhang was pretty short (similar to some Pathos spearguns)

The long overhang of the spears on most spearguns is to keep the spear straight by reducing any tendency to droop in the middle. On a railgun (or railed speargun) it is less critical, according to Rob Allen, as the rail supports the spear.
