Hey Guys,
Was at the pool yesterday and was practicing some dynamic finning.
Only doing sets of 25m mixed up with surface swimming then duck diving finning and then surface again.
After the first 25 i felt a little twinge behind my left eye, like a headache feels.
Went for the next set and immediately as I hit the bottom my ability to equalise was gone and I had a blinding headache, I tried coming up a little and it seemed to help but the headache was still there. I blew extra hard through my nose and heard a little high pitched squeak and the headache was gone, swam the 25 and then on the way back up it came back.
The pool depth is only 2m and in open water I never have this issue but have had it at numerous times while mucking around. I am only wearing swimming goggles and tried it without goggles but the ache was still there until it squeaked again.
Is there something I can do to get rid of this am I in trouble?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
