members from Israel under terror atacks

Hi dear friends
Last week we are experiencing some high waves of terror attacks on Israel
Just to remind you from 2 sides & from almost the same people ( Hamas & Hezbollah )

Civil cities got attacked by rockets without any reason at all!!

It is sad but these attacks came after we believed that peace is near by
I still hope so & most of my Moslems friends do believe so

I got some private massages asking if we are OK so I think it is the place to thank
All of you that really care for us
As far as I know Michael is fine I hope to hear also from Husam , Said , Ofer & more

Like in other places around the world the terror hits without a difference on people
Black & white Christians Jews or Moslems solders or civil babies or old people

Believe me I prefer to put spearfishing report & not this issue!

I hope the people from Lebanon will be strong enough to spit out the terror
From their land & have a peaceful life just like before it started

As for what I think terror is the human cancer, we have to take it out
It won’t be easy but it will give better life to everyone in the planet

Sincerely with best regards
Eyal

Eyal,

It is good to here you are safe, please stay that way. I watch with great concern everyday the reports of how things are going over there. (Thank God militarily you have the upper hand against those bastard terrorists.) I hope Said is doing OK, as well as Ofer since he has a new baby girl.

Jim

[correction: Eyal is the new father and not Ofer :duh ]

Between all the Muslim extremists and wacco communists its' hard to believe there are many sane people left in the world. Wish you guys well over there. Keep safe.

My thoughts and prayers were with you guys these last few days. Glad to hear that my freediving brothers are in good health. May the defense of your ways be over soon and peace restored. Until then, I will pray for peace.

Keep safe and thanks for the report.

let us also pray for the 180 lebanese civilians that have died over the past 3 days also from these attacks. While my sympathy and sorrow extends to our israeli members and friends who have had to face terror the past few days, i can not help but feel for the other major victims thus far in this conflict, the lebanese people, their infrastructure, airports, main roads, have been destroyed and in the process 180 civilians dead so far. i could not figure out what such destruction has accomplished in the fight against terror, neither what happened in Iraq or afghanistan for that matter, i'm frustrated at the amount of people who end up dead and wounded in the process from both sides (soldiers and civilians at the end they are people), with no tangible outcome at the end. I pray that this conflict ends in peace very soon as everyone ends up losing at the end.

Eyal,
We all wish and pray for the end of the war and the peace in the region. You are right; Humanity will route out the terrorist cancer that afflicts it today, so Israel and it's neighbors can live in peace side by side. Best wishes to you and the rest of our Israeli friends.
God speed to IDF.

I am with you Marwan on that
War is bad thing
It is difficult to believe someone enjoy that
I am also want to pray for Lebanese people that want Pease & against terror
You are right we will end loosing on both sides, so my it end soon

From what I know I have spend more then 2 years in Lebanon
I think it is a beautiful place (when it’s quiet) I hope to go
For a spearfishing tour one day over there when it will be quiet

Most people from both sides want to live in peace

I am in Jordan, just 200 miles from where it's all happening. We are not far from the Iraqi border either. It's all a bit edgy here.

My heart goes out to all of you, Michael, Said, Oferdegi, say something to us please.

"The sea has peace for every man"

It's just a matter of learning how to catch it. Extremism is there in all religions, Christian, Catholic, Protestant, Hindi, Budhist, etc. But don't blame the religions, it's about the hate that's in the heart of the individual, that's then fueled by power politics and exploded into wars by the use of force, a force that only starts the cycle all over again. It seems to me that man has a shorter memory than a fish! Until both side's grievances are competently and sincerely addressed, I don't see much peace in sight. I only see interests that provoke the death of innocent civilians everywhere.

I have to say some of the opinions here come off as extreme as the terrorists. Maybe just ignorant?

Glad to hear everyone here is safe, wish I could say the same for all the dead. I wish everyone involved the best outcome possible, insha' Allah.

I have been watching closely from Saudia.

Hi everybody, just thought I'd pop in and say that my family and me are fine. We're in Tel Aviv, out of missile range up until now, just trying to live our lives as usual and hoping all this madness passes soon, for the relief of both sides - I feel very sorry for people who get killed or wounded or remain homeless, and for children who must spend their summer holidays in a bomb shelter.

As far as my own safety is concerned, I'm a bit of a fatalist - just as I never bother to buy a lottary ticket, for the chances of wining are so slim, so are the chances of being hit by a missile. In the first gulf war I used to go up on the roof and watch the Iraqui missiles coming down and the patriot missiles rising up to intercept them - it was a grand fireworks show! Yet now I'm no longer alone, I've got a family to worry about, so I'll do nothing stupid and just hope all this will end soon.

Thank you all for your concern, hopes and prayers - the DB community is a little island of sanity in a world that seems to be too obsessed with all the wrong things - why the hell can't they all just find themselves a nice, harmless hobby instead? This all just makes me feel like quoting our friend Kars:
Love, peace and water!
:) Ofer

"Captain, these civilians is crazy"--retired Marine gunnery sergeant reporting to his former commander at the height of the Watts riots.

Sigh!! It seems nobody learns anything. Hating is bad for children and other living things.

I used to do the same thing, but in Ras Tanura, KSA. Funny thing, the news kept saying they were being shot at Daharan, lovely that misinformation thing is...

Good luck to everybody in that region. keep your heads down!
