Hello everyone,
This is my first wetsuit and have nothing to compare with, except a cheap (25€) shorty...
I recieved my wetsuit this morning from Merou. The service was great and direct, but it lacked that special feeling you get with specialfins... I ordered a made to measure Merou race hunter wetsuit, it is a 3.5 mm smoothskin outside, jersey inside. It is a waist style pants and a normal top with hood and buckle at the bottom It also has a reinforced chest bit for loading your gun...
I ordered this suit because it would enable me to freedive and spearfish...
Anyway, I took it out of the box and looked at it for a while, I noticed a lot of creases in the neoprene (I take it as a sign of fragility) but the tailoring was excellent and saw absolutly no signs of bad edges or cuts whatsoever...
I then stripped naked (hehehehe) and tried it on... I noticed it was quite a pain in the ass to put on, it was tight then loose and then suddenly PLOP! It was all good and it fit VERY (notice the CAPS!) nice... I hobbled downtstairs making lots of noises frmo the squeeking of the free socks and got some strange looks from my family and the visiting guests... I got in the pool and let some water in and then got out to let the excess water fall out. Immediatly I felt the warmth coming and every out of place neoprene (especially the arms) slid into place. Needless to say it was extremely comfortable... It was quite a change from having a shorty, they all give rashes on my neck!!! ARGH
Anyway, I jumped in the pool and just swam around, I noticed I was extremely bouyant... I exhaled completely and I still floated at the top! It was also very smooth to float around, I would kick from my edge of the pool and I would float around all the way to the other end of the pool without extra movement.... hihi, lots of fun that!
Well, I dont have much else to say except that it is a great quality product, amazing tailoring, good looks, greeeeaaatttt comfort....

It gets 9/10 from me...
Points off for the creases in the neoprene (ugly) but I dont think you can avoid it??? And also for.... ummmm.... well.... hm... the ugly bag it was delivered in? LOL!

Ummmm... The 6 till the 8 August I am doing a freediving course so I will bee able to talk more about the suit and also my fins! Until then!!!!!

More detailed photos upon request.... Just gimmer a yell about what u wanna see and Ill put it up ASAP :)
