HooMack "Marque" and I decided to try the day out and see how it goes. We made our way out to the reef and the sea wasn't very kind :blackeye... Took a rest before jumping in and then took a dive, some nice structure and reef patches = nice life and variety of fish! On my second dive I saw this big daddy hog and took a shot at him... did not think it was "that" big... until I felt his weight on my line! I followed my line quickly made it to the shaft and grabbed the hog, it was a *nice* fish! We continued drifting and ran into some more nice fish and some others that got away; about two hours later we were both gassed... so decided to pack it in and head back to shore. This hawg is my biggest so far :martial

+1 for the RA's lol gj on the hog dude, dale vamos a ver cuando salimos a repartir barillas. I got to finish this things 1st though. Having my boat not ready drives me insane even if i wont use it mañana.

awesome man...where do you usually launch your yak in miami? I usually take mine up to ft lauderdale or Dania

We launch off a "undisclosed" location in Key Biscayne. Honestly the day was really rough and we shouldn't have been out that day on the yak, but hey when you get the spearing itch you got to scratch. The only good thing was the drift was working in our favor and viz was actually better then we thought it would be and hey for 2 hours of work it wasn't a bad catch.

well I am always down for some yak spearing so if you want another or want to take a tandem out, shoot me a PM
