Well a buddy of mine and myself decided to invest in a kayak... we picked up a Malibu 2 XL Ocean Kayak. Let me say this thing is awesome very stable and can hold lots of gear... we just need to work on our technique and get better paddles lol. It was also the first day out with my new gun Rob Allen 110 Tuna, great gun didn't miss a fish

Weather was better toady although water was chilly, def worthy of a wetsuit, vis was about 40fsw. We launched off the beach and paddled out about 2-3 miles... no GPS :t. After resting for 15 we got in the water and drifted with my gun attached to my boogie float and my buddy used the yak as his float. A few minutes into our drift we had a HUGE school a big Spanish Macks swim right under us... I couldn't believe it biggest school I've seen, I took aim at the fattest one I could see and took my shot... bingo I thought, until my shaft slid back out lol. We chased him and about 20 yards later grabbed him by the tail, didn't see the school again :head. We kept on the drift and stumbled into some nice structure, pulled two hogs and drifted away from the spot, lost it.. had more fish but o well. Further down we find some nice life by some rocks and sea fans.. I saw a nice mutt soo went down to see his reaction, as usual he rode out but a lil while later right before I went to surface this big bad red groupy came right up to my personal spear space... took aim and stoned him. Finished the day with a mutton and decided to head in :friday

It was a very fun day on the water and very very tiring lol..... Oh by the end of the drift we had three remoras under the kayak, it was pretty cool

I had no cam but took these with my phone, enjoy

On the way home, gota love this place :inlove

Ahhh I see we are improving, Pedro Navaja!. That biller that you had and came out in the pics when you posted a report angered me! Glad you are like the RA bet it shoots hard and like a lazer. Nice fish specially the mutton not the biggest but def worth empanisando!

Jajaja! Yea man the RA shoots great, I never used both bands BTW lol... Im sorry to have angered you, BTW it is a JBL and its got tons of torque but no horsepower lmao!! That mutton was delicious o man

Thanks for the replies guys, always happy to share

Yeah I know exactly what you mean about the whole shooting with 1 band! I would rather have a single 20mm band on that gun than 2x16mm. Trust Me faster reloading regardless of how many raps you have on ur gun. I only use 2 bands when I see big fish but, I wouldn't have to if i had a 20mm on my gun, deadly power with 20mm.

And I was going to say a JBL but I didn't think u would actually own 1 of those.... ahahaha rofl

WTG Cuchillo don't know how I missed this report...guess it was your ninja tacticos:martial

did you launch from Key biscayne? looks like the bridge in the last pics.

thanks for the report.
