Hello
I'm new to this sport and I'm currently assembling the equipment and knowledge I will need to begin freediving in the great lakes.

My question is directed to anyone who spends much time in the state of michigan.
I know that by michigan law double edged knives are restricted or illegal, this seems to rule out many of the better dive knifes out there. I know that there are good single edged knives or shears available but I wanted to know if any experienced michigan divers would weigh in on this subject.
Thanks
Josh
