Mick Moore

I would like to inform the membership that Mick Moore a Life Member of the Sussex Spearfishing Club passed away after a long illness. Mick was one of the first spearfishermen to take up the sport in the fifties and was always ready to tell of stringers full of big plaice and souls taken from the local Brighton beaches. He spent many a happy hour as the main diver looking after the Dolphins in Brighton aquarium and help to transport them, when it became unfashionable to keep them anymore. Our condolences go out to his family.
