Mimetic equipments

Hi All,

I would like to ask your help. I have never done spearfishing but i would like to know your experience with mimetic equipment (tinted mask, mimetic fins and wetsuits).
Is it work or it's only a good marketing way? Does the mimetic equipment gives more help to swim closer and closer to fish and other sea animals than a ,,simple black" or not? I'm not interested in hunting but i would like to be as invisible as possible in the sea during my freedive.
