And many more. Has Maytag been posting recently? And Oldsarge, and Miles, and Erik, and Jon, Dobs, Iceselkie, Tylerz, Galadion, Huw, and Crusty! and Sinkweight! We're a dispersed community lately...
More than everything I wish that Amphibious is recovering well. And that Monofin Diva will drop in in a while :)

Come on guys drop us a Christmas note just so we know you’re ok.
I’m getting a bit worried about Maytag as she has not been around for quite a while she’s also not replying to any texts I’ve sent.
And then there’s Island_sands she’s not posting nearly as often as she once did, but I’ve got a few thoughts on why that might be.. :inlove:inlove
Come on JimDoe what’s new in your world this Christmas?
Amphibious we all know that you’re recovering, but how’s it all coming along soon going to be back in the water??
Sarge no seasonal recipes from you??

Well I wish you all a Happy Christmas anyway and a shining New Year with whatever you might be up to.:):)

Miles glad your up and running again with a new laptop.
Although maybe you should be running to keep warm, Happy Christmas mate.:)

Sinkweight has hardly been around at all for quite some time. Amphibious is out there flying helicopters at night and all kinda stuff. It's four weeks from the accident until he can dive again, so it shouldn't be too long.
Sara-Lise has been traveling and is very busy, but I got an email from her today, so she's still alive and kicking. Didn't Rigdivr move inland after Katrina?

Hope to hear from the missing :)

I haven't seen much of Sinky ever since I got here last Year, really. Almost all I know of him is legend - Sinkweight, send us a quick ACK to convince me of Your existence, eh? :t

Sorry guys, haven;t been online as much as I'd like, they've got me flying an odd schedual, all night. getting stuff packed up and sorting out loose ends as I return to canada real soon, been busy. fully recovered and done a little spashing about in the local puddles.

I think Jimdoe is super busy with his business, haven't heard much from him of late.

Miles, I'll be passing through saskatoon area on my way home in january, what town are you in? might be a good time to introduce you to good canadian draft :D

Nice one mate on the recovery and glad you’re back with us.
Happy Christmas:)

Aww, hey everyone! Sorry, life got busy for us here too, our son had a bone infection over the summer- so aside from the PFI course I did early June- I missed alot of freediving! Good news is, he's on the way to recovery, and hopefully, this coming summer will offer more opportunity for my favourite past-time. :D Hey Miles!! I can't believe you are in Saskatchewan (I'm a born and raised mudpuddler, from Regina!) ;)
Well, the kids are making gingerbread cookies, and Santa's a few hours away from dropping through our chimney.
Hope everyone is well, has a wonderful holiday and all the best wishes for the New Year!

Hey all! I lurk about more than post for the last year or so, but I'm always here. Winter slows us down up here, so no spearing since September for me :(
Cheers,
Erik

It's kind of a long story . . .
First, I was hoping to be scheduled for sinus surgery so that I could be more than just a surface popper. However, the docs and the HMO decided that I really don't have sleep apnea and my septum isn't deviated enough to actually warrant surgery even though they admit that my sinuses are rather blocked. I got an on-going prescription for Nasocort, instead. Will that allow me to dive? It will take warmer weather to find out. Maybe I'll just end up as one of Mr. X's free-diving anglers with a kayak.

Second, last September I stepped on the scale at the doc's and was told 230. Enough is enough! Since then I've dropped 30 lbs with another 30 to go before we leave for a canal barge in France in July. I've been avoiding thinking about food for the last four months, something that is not fun! Sorry about the lack of recipes.

Third, . . . well it would take a long time to tell all the details and only another professional educator would really care but, to be brief, I'm trying to start up a program in my school and my district that will gather all the Profoundly Gifted (top1/2 %) into my school and, eventually, my classroom. This will push my retirement back at least another two years but it will be the only such program in the state and my superiors at district are seriously behind me. The PG are so rare that my district should statistically have only about 22, K-12. I know where perhaps 6 are but the rest are unaccounted for. This is tragic, espcially in light of the fact that NO ONE is looking for them. As you can imagine, I've been a bit busy. Sorry but the kids come first, even ahead of my real desire to just go fishing. Damn, etc.

Other than that, I've kept in touch just a bit with my notched, rusty ax for use on spammers. I'll try to get back more often in the coming year.

Well Sarge I don't see any contradiction in being on diet and posting recipes...It's just like posting fish stories on a stormy day...
Best of luck for all. You know we love you!
As for Erik, please stay here. We need you!
PS- Miles in Canada is the News of the year! Makes me think of when Maradona arrived in Napoli. Must be such a great pleasure to buddy the Titan on the hunt.
