hi im looking to fix up a jbl 450 xhd i bought used . it came with a few 5/8th spears and a few smaller ones . are the smaller ones better for straight long shots ? Also it came rigged for break away or can be tied to the gun , seems like a good set up . id like to change out the muzzle to a gulf style though . here's a a pic of it https://www.flfreedivers.com/store/images/JBL Gulf Muzzle D3003.JPG
I'm going to buy new bands any ways and have been warned about the steel wish bones on the jbl . whats the easiest way to fix this issue . thanks !

Dyneema wishbone bands! But as far as i understand you cant use the notched shafts, has to be shark fin tabs. How is this gulf muzzle different?

ahh yes that is a better muzzle. i think its the orientation as much as the sharpness, the shark fins are higher up and the wishbone and band is not as much at an angle. just set it up that way on mine. looks like it may work i guess. Just buy or make the bands and if it tears up the wishbone or doesnt shoot right. then buy a new shaft the new jbl shafts are shark fin tabs and have a tahitian style flopper. i think it makes the gun more accurate not having that heavy jbl threaded tip.
