What do you get when you cross a pair of busted scuba fins with a pair of old, but working, scuba fins...??

Big, ugly, adjustable freedive fins!

I'll be testing them tomorrow. Updates will follow.

Ghetto indeed! One day I might try to build a monofin, but I built these for hunting. In my opinion, a monofin is not maneuverable enough for hunting.

As for these fins... It amazed me how quickly I made it to the bottom. Problem is that my crappy old mask kept flooding. Once I get the sherwood mako mask I've been looking at, the real hunting can begin.

Genius! I have a couple of scuba fins I no longer use; looks like I wont need to buy freediving fins after all!

those are pretty neat! i was thinking of building some of my own out of some high density plastic strips ( they are 1/8 in x 8 by 16 inches long) but i haven't yet due to finding a good footpocket
