Hi,

I am looking for a monofin for a 16 year old girl who is a swimmer not a diver, before today I didnt know monofins even existed outside of the "finis" brand. My problem is she wants to better monofin and finis only makes it in med, and large. She wears a womans 6 shoe and is a somewhat elite leval butterflyer who wants to improve her core strength and underwaters. Any suggestions on brands etc would be GREATLY appreciated. This stuff is pretty cool!

Ask Alex of Starfins. He's on this forum, has good prices, fast delivery, and - most importantly - a very good sense of what kind of fin the person needs.

A classic model fin is already much better, but maybe you want to spoil her with the next level of fin, on with an bigger foot pocket angle.

In addition you may want to collect a bunch of finswimming video's so you can see and learn the technique.

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

why don't you try leaderfins ?
monofin finswimmer or flyer

i use from leaderfins the finsimmer and the Hyper its realy good and my friend use the flyer

if she is a biggener i suggest go with monofin finswimmer

Hi Kuwait,

Thanks for suggestion. I know of Leaderfins, and indeed they provide good products too.
The only reason I'm suggesting Starfins is because of Alex proven ability to provide a custom fin that fits the demand exactly.
Together with a very competitive price and record speed delivery, I think he offers the best value at the moment.

Hello Kars,

both starfins and leaderfins are good . that is only a suggestion .. i tested the leaderfins Mono that so i gave him this suggestions :)
one more thing the shipping is really cheep with leaderfins
thank you again

hi i am 18 years old and untill last year i was doing classical swimming and also work on butterfly.i had also use finis monofin for exersize.
Now i am finswimmer and i can see the big diferense between the fins.
I have use both leaderfins and starfins and i propose starfins
it will be made only for your girl and for her targets.
I would propose an immersion monofin with soft blade.
The immersion fin has sorter blade and she can exercise better
her dolfinism.
But you can mail to alrx and he will tell you better

+1 for Starfins.

Alex is just super good with blades and fit of the monofin. If you go with Starfins you will get a monofin that fits and is built just for you!
