Hi ladies and gentlemen :p I m new on this forum and I wanted to ask one question

Does anyone have ever been using Monofin One Wing (390$) & Nemo Monofin (220$) & FishTail Glide monofin (435 $)???

I m new beginner to monofins, never tried but really into to try it maybe not to diving but to swimming butterfly style higher and quicker. I have been swimming for couples of years idk maybe 15 mostly crawl and butterfly using typical speedo paddles and Finis floating fins but I now I want something different...
I wanted to swim with paddles and with monofin that can make me jump from the water like dophin :p

So I wonder what monofin suits for me the best for butterfly surface swimming. I want to just swim powerful for one hour maximum so I need comfortable pocketfoots... from time to time I would dive but not so deep .. idk for 5-6 meters but not more deeper cuz here in Poland the visibility in lakes under 4-5 meters is limited and to see someting clearly I think I would need a torch :p

Does the stiffness is important for surface swimming? Which one is good for butterfly style on surface?

I wanted to spend circa 400 $ for monofin. Please help me to choose cuz i want to check it out in the water still this summer...

Regards :),

Marek

Monofin One Wing - Nemo Monofin - FishTail Glide Monofin:

Of these, the Nemo monofin is likely the only one that will be comfortable for 1 hour long swimming sessions with heavy swimming. It is not a super high performing fin, but if you are not doing heavy freediving, I'm pretty sure it will be good enough for what you want to do.

Monofin One Wing is probably going to be the worst at causing blisters. The Fishtail Glide is probably the highest performing fin in your list, but your feet will need to be toughened up to be able to handle the loads of heavy swimming with this fin. Glide fins are not something someone just slips on and starts using without some consequences.

Thank you very much for reply. So u recommend me to take the Nemo Monofin and then when I'll develop my legs - buy the Glide? But you know, I think I have strong legs becouse last time I swim only with floating fins... Hmm what hardness do you recommed for Nemo? I m thinking about hard but I dont know . I read that hard are quicker ...

Ok Today I bought from Bogdan Nemo Monofin Medium Stiffness. Thanks for helping me :p
