Monofin size/shape relative to wearer

So, I have questions about the size of the monofin and what it should be, optimally, in relation to the size of the wearer. Is it possible that half circle shape needs to be smaller in diameter or possibly more elliptical to adjust for the height/stength/etc. of the wearer? The stiffness? Any other modifications to make it more effective for someone who is small and light for example?

that's a great question.. i wonder the same thing.

some look VERY large.. and i'm only 5'1.... 156cm. some of those fins look HUGE!

I also have the same thought and question, do they only make different stiffnes and lamination or do they do different size of the blade itself and how to calculate this?
