Whoa there efattah! HOW many monofins?! you could have probably put a down payment on a house somewhere warm with all that cash! I know you love the mono's, but 22 may be a little overkill.

Actually this should be an interesting thread to see all the toys/junk that all of us dive freaks accumulate.

I could stand to get rid of my Finis Rapid mono, but I think if I actually put it up here for sale I'd get laughed at.

I do have a Nikonos V with two lenses and macro kit that I'd like to unload. It's in great shape, barely used. I'll post details tomorrow.

Details

If you want a size 12 (U.S.) mono, you're welcome to purchase an unused blade and an unused finis, waterway or mat-mas footpocket in that size. Eric's shop can accomodate all your monofin needs.

The cosmetically defective fluid goggles are US$95, but they do not come with the unconditional money-back guarantee that the retail priced goggles come with. World records have even been set with some of these 'cosmetically defective goggles' !!!

Very good thread

This thread was a good idea,
Eric, I'm interested in a 42 monofin
How can you send it to Colombia and how can I pay you?
And of course what are the prices?
I'm so interested in the "defective" fluid goggles but still are out of my budget, because I'm still looking for a suit. What do you think will be better, a suit or the fluidgoggles?.

Monofin stock pricing

Here is the monofin stock for sale, with prices (shipping not included):

Notice that the mat-mas stuff is very expensive, because mat-mas charges at least US$200 shipping, and there are all sorts of weird duties and taxes that get charged (not to mention wire transfer fees), so in the end we usually end up paying $500 in surcharges to get anything from them to us.

Eric Fattah's equipment

I am interested in a monfin and the fluid-filled goggles. I use a Waterway Model 2 Middle D 310mm foot pocket but would like something with softer foot pocket and blade for extended time in the ocean. I am not sure what the issue is but feet get cramped after 500 meters.

I can understand how a person might end up with 22 monofins.

How much.
How tall are you. Was wondering if the suit would fit me. I am 5'9"
Will Wal-Mart change the batteries in the Citizen watches or are they complicated?
What exactly does cosmetically defective mean?

Hi ADR and Jason,

In case Eric hasn't replied to you yet, I thought I'd let you know that he has been having trouble getting on the internet since he moved all his stuff to his new place. Also, from his old place he has been unable to access Deeperblue at all for the last couple of weeks. Something happened during the DB overhaul that took place a while back.

I let him know by email about your questions. He'll be able to tell you what items he still has to sell. After all, this thread was started in 2001!

Cheers,

I didn't even look at the date. It was in the 10-most recent list so I just assumed it was new. I sure feel dumb now.

I can access the site now, the problem has been fixed.

Much of the stuff is still for sale, including the KSP9 carbon fin and the semi-dry suit. There are no more cosmetically defective fluid goggles but the fluid goggles now sell brand new for $165 (smoke), (although the money back guarantee has been removed). Clear goggles are a special order item now.

I have very little time these days to hang out on deeperblue. I'll see if I have a medium semi-dry suit left.

I need the target address to calculate shipping on the monofin.

I'm not confident that just any shop can change the battery in the citizen aqualand duplex.

Hi Eric,

"1. mat-mas ksp 9 carbonplus blade w/ finis L 42-44 footpocket $185"

target address - Sydney Australia

regards

Andy

mat-mas 38-41 footpocket (black-soft) $35
finis S footpocket (US 6-7, ? ) $50

Howdy Eric, if either of the above two is still available (preferably the first) I'll have it. My address in case you don't have it anymore - Waulkmill Farmhouse, Auchnagatt, Ellon, UK, AB41 8UU. I'll pay you the way I did before if that's OK.

Cheers,

Ben

Happy new year
i sell a leaderfins flyer speed pro new
it is for 42-44 size with hard blade.
It is ideal for 50-100 meters and only for good athletes
the price is 300 euro and the shipping cost is mine

I might be interested in your soft blades. What are the blade sizes? Can broken foot pockets be fixed or replaced?

hey mate may want to check the age of the thread :)

thread is from back in 2002, although with Eric you never know what fun toys he has laying around.

Bleh.

Thanks for the heads up. I was using Google and this popped up. I should be more attentive though, thanks.
