more old school

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
couldn't you attach the pole spear to a float and floatline via a mono or dynema line? if you grab "wrap" of dynema in the shooting hand it would work like for a speargun, and you can let go of the fish /pole spear after the hit.

Re: more old school slang

When something is refered to as a Toad, it's slang for a big, friggin whatever it is. In this case, it's a Toad grouper- a big, friggin grouper.

Congratulations again to you Earl.

please god, make the "Toad" stop.

this term has been used in land-based hunting circles for years. it is beyond retarded.

and why "Toad"? why not Hamster? parrot? guppy?

"Damn, dat der fish is quite the Gerbal!"

<beats head against wall>

(why have all his post been chaged to "well boys and girls" ? )
