Im thinking on buying one.Does anybody has it. any inpressions?::head

i have the 104...super great gun...the reloading takes some getting used and thats the only downside in my opinion..
i dont recommend to go for double rubbers, the guys at c4 beieve that its more suited for single rubber use, particularly a 17.5mm rubber with a 6.5mm spear...you can thread a needle with that setup :)

Hi Marwan, as I am plannig to buy that gun, please be so kind and answer a couple of questions.
The setup you mentioned - 17,5 bands and 6,5 spear : what is max weight of fishes you hunt with it and at what max range. Is the penetration at the end of effective range ok? What lenght of spear do you use at this setup? Did you try some other configurations? Thanks.

Marin

ok
1 - I hunt up to 10 kg fish with this setup
2 - range 4meters effective from speartip
3 - length of spear 140cm
4 - no didnt try another configuration, this is the configuration that i got as a reply after emailing c4 themselves, they said its the most accurate setup for this speargun, but bear in mind mine is 104, you probably will need a 130 cm spear for a 94

My choice is also a 104, for I think it will be a good all round gun.
I was asking about setup because a friend of mine had quite a trouble finding a good one on a Monococque ( a previus model ).
I put my eye on Mr Carbon as soon as it was introduced, but money was issue so I had to wait some time. Expect I'll have it at the beggining of next year. I can hardly wait, but think it's worth it.

My opinion is: it's not worth the price. It's beautiful to look at, but not a good gun when it comes to accuracy.
An acquaintance of mine bought one some months ago, and he doesn't like it. He told me that the recoil is too strong (even with one band), and the handle is just not good at all.

If you're willing to spend so much money on a speargun, I suggest you buy a wooden one, like an Abellan, a Dapiran or a Totemsub gun.

Just my two cents, anyway.
