It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Apparently the walrus of love last words on his death bed was 'i cant get enough of your love'

reckon it would be more likely 'i cant get enough of your cream cakes'!

He had a large appetite for food and ladies......personal hero of mine!!!

I too am ashamed of you people! Picking on someone from Illinois! I'm totally offended. I wish I had not cut off the mullet I had in the 8th grade! I'm goin Muddin! According to dotey, that's what we's all posed ta do!

And Randy, lighten up bro.

God knows that most of us from wisconsin talk that way, but do we have to broadcast it to the world IL?

Fleshy, dotey is from IL, he has lived in WI for less than a year. So as much as I should let WI claim him, I can't. Funny thing is, he lived not far from Lincoln (where Randy78 lists his location in that e-mail to sands)

Jimminie Christmas! It seems that the fog in Old England is not just on the streets! Poor Island_Sands. You didn't invite him to your birthday party did you? PS. Don't open any boxes sent to you with air-holes punched in them.

Podge the recipe is appreciated.

Here's a good one for bass/mullet/any fillet except oily mackeral:

1 large & deep baking pan - often I use foil for ease of clean up
2 ea large fillet
1/3 lb bay scallops
1 lb 45-56 ct P&D shrimp
1 cup diced celery (with leaves)
1 cup diced onion
1 10 oz pkg sliced frozen (thaw) okra
2 TBS minced garlic
2 carrots diced finely (okay shredded packaged carrots work too)
1 green bell pepper seeded & diced
2 jalapeno peppers seeded & diced
1 - 12 oz can of spicy V-8 juice
1 - 28 oz can or 2 14.5 oz cans crushed tomatoes
1 medium white onion sliced 1/16" thick
lemon or lime juice
cajun spice -- or cayan pepper
olive oil (Rachel Ray would say EVOO--don't ask)

  • Alrighty--EVOO in bottom of pan spread evenly.
  • layer sliced onion on bottom fillet on top squirt w/ lemon juice
  • mix tomatoes, garlic, okra, jalapenos & V-8 in bowl w/ couple of squirts lemon juice too
  • heap & mix all veggies over fish, dust well w/ cajun spice, even out, cover w/ scallops & shrimp (do not squirt lemon juice on the scallops & eat raw or I'll dice the ends of your fingertips off).
  • cover over all with tomato mix
Preheat oven to 500' F. Finish your beer--I didn't tell you can drink beer after the dicing part??--so sorry--I drank it for you.

Place baking dish on to foil lined cookie sheet (catches boil over). Pop all into oven, turn down to 400' and bake for 40 minutes. Drink 2 beeers. Turn oven off (drink one more beer) letting dish stand in oven for 10 minutes. Remove & serve over steamed brown & wild rice mixture. AYAAAH :friday

Alot of 'mericans turn their noses up at grey mullet. So they miss out! I've found it doesn't freeze well (goes mushy). Eat it fresh!
