It's official - NZ Aida has reported Dave Mullins has taken the Dynamic World Record with a monster swim of 265 meters.

congrats to Dave :)

cheers,

kp

Dave slipped into the water very quiet and very focused, There was a huge crowd ( biggest crowd we have ever seen at a NZ Freediving event) of general public, freedivers, and local media. When Dave turned at 250m, the crowd got behind him cheering and clapping, it was incredible feeling the support as Dave exited the water.

Will post video links when they have finished uploading!!

Well done Dave truly fantastic!

A good result for the support crew Joy and Mel and lots of others who have put a in a big effort to make this event happen.

Amazing, also considering the turns in the shallow water. Way to go, congratulations!

Congrats Dave! Monster swim...

So you ware not kidding when you sad you will speed up hehe ;)

cogratulations! massive!

So, Dave starts really slow and continually adds to his pace(with equal speed increments) till the end of the dive...what's the idea behind this approach?

Goran, is this reachable?;)
