Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that there seems to be a number of people who are creating multiple users to post under different names.

May I remind everyone that this is against the Forum Rules that you agreed to when you signed up. The section in the rules states:
ONLY ONE ACCOUNT PER PERSON, PLEASE
We only allow one account per person. We enforce this very strictly as it helps us deal with problems. If you lose access to your account, do not create another one as it may be banned. You should contact a Mentor or Team Leader for help.
The full Forum Rules are available at: http://forums.deeperblue.net/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_faq_rules

If any duplicate accounts are found you risk being banned for breaching the forum rules.

Many Thanks

hey. i use my college's wireless computer access, and i am aware of at least one other person who uses the same network to access this site. would we show up as the one ip address? or would it be possible to derive that we are on the same network, while not being the same person.?

We make every effort to ensure that legitimate users are not banned. At present the process is a combination of automated and manual methods.

We have software installed that tracks multiple usernames on more than just an IP basis. The actual banning process will be done by myself and all appeals will come through me as well.

So to answer your question - you will be fine using your college wireless access.

Thanks
