My first dive! My first dive! Woo-hoo!

I'm can now consider myself a skindiver, not just a snorkeler or wannabe. Yesterday I had a great day at Catalina Island off the coast of Long Beach, California.

I wrote a long dissertation in my journal but the summary is:
Fish seen: Thousands
Deepest dive: 50 or so feet.
Longest dive: ??? probably less than 1 minute.
Time in water: 5+ hours
Distance swum? not much
Distance walked: 4 miles total.
Fun had?

On edit- after taking the PFI class I realize I didn't get to 50 feet that day. Maybe 45.

Lucia! It is summer (well, almost). We have already been to the sea (yep, it was really cold), and to the lake also (at depth, even colder ), and this weekend we are again heading to the Adriatic Sea for a 4 day freedive tour.

Ok, I understand, that at the UK it is not so easy.
