Serena modeling my new weapon of choice spierre pure carbon blades medium stiff with omerstingray footpockets. A bit over a week ago after deciding that my gara 3000 seemed to be outperforming my very expensive c4 mustangs i decided to stop by freedive shop in sacramento and try a pair of gara professionals. The new gara was a bust right of the bat the toe area is way too roomy and soft for me. So i just started trying all the other gear was instantly hooked on the omer stingrays i got the smallest ones 39-40 and squeeze them onto my feet the material is just elastic enough that i can wear them very tight and still feel very comfortable. Then the blade choice ive never been totally convinced as to carbons superiority over plastic but after a lengthy debate i decided to give the spierre pure carbons atry. Always nervous spending that kinda money until i get them into the water to see if they actually work as hoped. So i get home and start throwing up worst flu ive ever had . So now im finally using them and i have to saw im very happy even after a 15 lbs weight drop over 2 days that has left me pretty weak mylegs are about 50% right now my swims with thwse feel easier than my legs at 100% with my other bi- fins cant weight till im back in shape and can try a real pb with these definately a huge upgrade in performance for me. Im not gonna say they are superior too my mustangs but definately a much better fit for me in every way
