Well I just got my very first spearo suit, the Omer Ocean Mimetic 5mm and it is so much better than my old 3mm surfing wetsuit! I ordered from tuttopescamare.it and am very happy with them sending my order very quickly and great prices too! On my first go with the new suit I shot a Barracouta of around 1m length! It seems the camo is making a bit of a difference, now I can get even closer to fish without them spooking too, not to mention with the greatly increased warmth its like I'm in a warm bath all the time!

Anyways I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on maintenance or any other useful tips for using this suit and also what should I do? One of the circular nylon dots that cover where the stitching intersects came off of one of the legs!

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas
Your new wetsuit looks super and i'm sure it will turn (fish) heads where ever you will be diving. After reading some posts wrt the Omer wetsuits ( i think it was your post some time ago) i also opted for ordering a new wetsuit in 3mm Ocean Mimetic from the same supplier. Now i wait impatiently for the delivery. What size did order and was the size as stated by the manufacturer correct according to your actual size? Enjoy your new suit and i hope many a fish will come your way.
Trompie Maré

Yeah Trompie the sizing seems pretty accurate, I'm about 6'0 and 75kgs so I ordered a size 4 and it fits very nicely and has very soft and stretchy comfortable material that contours to your body very well so you should be right as long as you get at least a similar size to the recommended one.

I absolutely love this suit (apart from some of the nylon dots that cover the stitching intersects coming off) and I think you will too!

Looking good, the fit seems to be spot on too :)

Obviously seems to work by the looks of that fish :friday

My first dive suit was the same as that. It was such a tough suit especially for rock hopping on the east coast of australia in bigger swells.

Ive recently bought a brand new spetton but.
