Here is my homemade roller based on an ALS a-90 euro speargun. The bands are 56cm so the output power of the gun compares to a 146cm speargun or a very well pumped airgun 100cm. Rollers have a separation system so that can support many pair of bands on same axis.

sorry could you elaborate further, what's the deal with this setup, key highlights/benefits etc... never seen one before
cheers

Nice work. I like the idea of using washers to accomodate multiple bands, it should scale nicely.
- How do you prevent the wishbone to catch the shaft before it leaves the gun?
- Does anything stop the wishbone from going under the gun after a shot?

How hard is to load a roller compared to a normal band gun? Never seen one in person.

On the question "how does it load" check the photos on the tread they explain many more than the text.

I have no idea what "washer" is but the answer to the second question is this

Do the rubbers wear off on the metal washers?

Absolutely no. I could say that the original bands on the gun had more wearing at the point they attached to the top of the gun (open head)
It is very accurate at 4 m and it has no recoil, at least not enough to be sensed (because the gun slides only backwards paralel on the axis of the tube and no upwards),
