hey everyone..I've got a 3 mil. wetsuit but it is a bit too big, especially in the arms. I dont have the money to buy a new one so i am wondering if anyone has some ideas for me to make this thing fit correctly.

My immidiate thought was wearing a couple long sleeve shirts underneith the wetsuit to make it fit tighter. Has anyone found this effective or does it just defeat the purpose of the suit and not keep u warm.

Thanks for all of the help!

If it is a nylon suit then yes you can wear a sweat shirt or something like that.
Normally it is the body part of your suit that plays the biggest part in keeping you warm, you can buy a neoprene vest to help that part.

Its Christmas, just overindulge, eat whatever you want and then you will fit in it.

Works for me every year :)

there are a few companies that can do cheap quality alterations to your suit oceaner being one of them its easier to remove than add so ur in luck i think it would cost at most about 50-70 bucks

wetsuits/neoprene is the easiest material to deal with. get a tube of "black witch" get a tube of "aquasure", a needle and synthetic nylon or similar thread and lastly a good long pair of sharp scissors. Simply put suit on and see which sections need to come off. Cut the sections off neatly and preferably along the seam and removing the seam. Glue with black witch, sew on seams that are not smooth skin with simple loops and lay aquasure over the stitches.....ta da better than new. I have removed whole sections/panels of wet and dry suits(neoprene) never a failure. It really is easy. This stuff is really sooo easy to work with. If you need pics I can put some up. Don`t be daunted and if you remove too much the only problem is sourcing the neoprene. Most dive shops have huge quantities of scrap neoprene used in packing from deliveries usually which if they are nice they will give you . Good luck but in this instance you shouldn`t need it. Make sure the glue is fresh and store it in the freezer. With smooth skin on both sides just make sure you do a good glue job.
