look around there are some threads with how to and pics----the basic version is bike innertube filled with bb's backpack clips rigged up to fasten it, but there are many other versions, how much weight varies on your build and how much air you are taking in i.e. packing/non packing or style I don't need as much weight for mono as I do for no-fins

This type of neckweight isn't very comfortable, but you'll get used to it.
