Well, finally I got my RA 130 , after a few practice I learned how to load this monster very easy..........but I have been missin a lot, I cant hit any fish, what I,m doing wrong?? I now practice is the best way, but any advice of how you aim.............don't now.........i'm very frustrated.
Thanks

What gun did you have before? RA's tend to shoot with less initial drop, so often people think they shoot "high".

Get yourself some netting, like a catchbag and use that as a target, then you can see where exactly the gun shoots.

x-frog, I can only empathize. I got a RA 140 and 110 for a trip and have never had such bad aim in all my life. For the life of me I can't believe the shots I have missed. Unfortunately, I have not been able to focus with either gun because I've had to go back and forth with a big riffe which only makes it harder. Practice of course, but I'll be curious what comes out of this query as well.

i had some bad shots with my 120 in the begining and i was sure my aim was good. when i bought the gun i got an extra spear and because i hit a rock and the tip wasn't good i changed the spear and it all went well. what's the catch? the barb was geting stuck (the barb points down) and it made the spear go up. i losen it a bit and it was fine.
I didn't had any problems with the aiming in my transition from a (ancient) cressi apache 90

this might not be your problem at all but hope it might help anybody

sorry for the spelling

Fernando

Hi X-frog,

You may want to check the barb, if the small lip on the trailing edge is bent up a little too much then it can cause the gun to shoot a litlle high. Tap it down a touch and see if it shoots where you aim there after. This is one way of adjusting the shooting position.

Regards,
Rob.
