Hi all,
I am searching for a watch for ameteur spearfishing and freediving only.
I need the measurements for dept and time values. I do not go deeper then 10-12 mt generally.
As far as searched Suunto Core is quite suitable for this purpose but the only negative thing is after 12 mt it stops logging. D4i is the one i actually need but it is expensive and have tons of features i do not need.
Also i need the watch to be close to normal sizes like max 45-50mm in diameter.
It would be great if i can connect it to computer too.
Thanks all.

Thanks for advice.
Oe last thing considering Suunto Core. Can it be used as a freediving watch or not. I mean it has the same water resistance material like Suunto D4 or else right? Only the logging is limited to 12mt.

Sporasub SP1 does the trick, can't connect it to the computer though... But it's watch sized and affordable.

I caould not find and data about the dimensions of Sporasub SP1. Is it smaller then 50mm radius which is nearly standart for wrist dive watches?

Itself smaller than the D4, i can measure it when I get hold of a measuring stick.

Its about 4,5cm radius and 1,5cm high, I only got two issues with it; the straps are a bit short for 7mm suit, and it starts logging at 1,2m wich is ok when spearing, but a bit anoing when poolpractising

old school casio dep series with depth, temp and dive logs... can be found for about 100$ if u look

Casio SPF 60 and SPF 100. You can find SPF60 used for peanuts. Some outfits still carry them brand new for around 150$, I found mine on ioffer.com for 160$ shipped. Neat as a wristwatch, and does the trick. Even shows elevation in mountains or atmospheric pressure. The only drawbacks are the log for one dive, and surface interval times which are non-existent. On the surface you will have to be switching to timer and then back to dive mode just before the dive. Not a big deal if you get into habbit of pressing buttons rightaway when surface and just before descending.
