I've got a couple of sets of Specialfins blades, the older ones. I'm looking for some new footpockets as the Sporasubs I had before just aren't quite right. What I'm ideally looking for is some footpockets that don't need to be glued, and which aren't too hard. I would get Omer Milleniums, but have heard that they are really hard. Need to get them a.s.a.p because am off to Egypt in three weeks. . .

Omer Millenniums very hard? I've never felt them to be too hard in years and years.

There are greater experts than me in the forum, and some of them are really picky (no disrespect intended) in the sense they are very deeply into technical awareness and insight, that I lack thereof. But I have used the Millenniums for years now, and I never felt them to be "very hard", as for my personal "feeling" is worth.

Anyway, the Imersion footpockets are said to be particularily soft (in the sense of not hard). You may check them as well.

Hope this helps.

My SpecialFins blades stay quite well in my Dessault (Sporasub) pockets.
If the Omer Milleniums are too stiff (my pair is very stiff), you could try the Omer Stingrays. They are supposed to be somewhat softer. SpecialFins designed the attachment system to work best with Omer. The Imersion pockets are definitely softer (I like them) but I have never tried to put my SpecialFins blades in them. I assume that they would need glue.
My Picasso Black Teampockets needed glue to keep the blades in, and came unglued while on vacation in Hawaii.
Other options may be Beuchat or the new Mares razors. I haven't heard of anyone trying this combination, but it may work,
