Is there any way I can clear the dive memory on my suunto d3.

I got it off ebay and cant for the life of me figure out how to erase the dives in the memory.

including the 30 odd ive done myself there is 180+ dives from the guy I bought it from and I would really like to have just my dives on the watch

any help would be great

PS: I FREAKEN love this watch:inlove:inlove. its already helped me improve my bottom time as I found out my recovery time was to short.

I'm pretty sure that can't be done. After a while the older dives will disappear as new dives come in so the only way to clear them is to put in lots of your own dives. (Reason to go diving number 102!)

cheers mate you are spot on as usual, I found the manual and had a good read. As you said, it deletes the old dives the more you dive.

I am very impressed with the watch, the suunto dive manager software downloads the dives and you can put dive locations and foot notes with each dive. 10/10

Just from memory but I think that removing the battery erased all the dives.

Not on mine it doesn't. Just changed the battery for the first time and all I lost was the current time and date.

I'm having a separate issue - does anyone know how to change the day of the week on the D3 without changing the date?

i don't think they (suunto) accounted for the leap year this year and therefore my display is off.

any advie or suggestions welcome :)
