Hey Guys,

A friend sold me his mint Mares 970 Cyrano for a good price of $100.00.
I need info on this gun, accuracy, power (compare to band guns, i heard the pnumatic have more power ? T/F ). i will be doing some reef, 10' to 30 ' dives, wrecks ect. is this gun going to be right for this. will this gun handle fish like AJ's, permit, hogs, grouper, occassional cuda ect...

Thanks, Manny

PS: i heard that pnumatic guns lose air pressure when u go 30ft or more ? T/F

For shallow water hunting <30ft it;s pretty hard to bea pnumatic for power. an exposed plunger (like your phumatic) will be be under the same conditions as any airspace under preasure. at full charge I belive the limit for that gun is something like 30bar (?) so at 33ft (1atg) it will be 15bar. a Mamba kit can counter this (PM Shaneshac) for your fish this gun should be fine. I have a little Mini Sten and love it for shallow hunting (<15ft) very very powerful and easy to track. if you decide you don;t like it an want your $100 back shoot me an email :D

good luck and good hunting
