Hello everyone:

Last week I lost one of my Cressi Gara 2000 LD:duh duh :waterwork , I am (was)extremely confortable and happy with these fins. I looked in the Scubastore.com and I learned from one of their representatives that Cressi does not produce the Gara 2000 LD anymore, just the 2000 HD and the 3000.

I do lots of surface swimming looking for game. We don't usually dive more than 20 to 25 meters. And I sometimes I like "hole" hunting. My question is: which fins would resemble most the Cressi Gara 2000 LD's, are the HD's extremely rigid?

Has anyone tried the Gara 3000...?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. My size is 44-45 in case anyone has a lot of Cressi Gara 2000 LD's stored in their garage...!

By the way I want to thank this site and everyone that participates... it's a great place to visit...!:) :

Hi ebusso,

I am currently using gara 3000. Thses are my first long blade free diving fin. I made much more surface swimming rather than deep dives so i wanted to buy gara LD likes you. Unfortunatelly i couldn't find any in local dealers. So the only choice was either 3000 or HF. HFs are more hard and rigid compare to 3000s. However 3000 are longer and much much more flexible and softer too. At the begining i foung them bit hard for surface swimming. My previous fins was ordinary scuba fins. But after 4-5 dives i feel more comfortable now. I like them.;)
