Hi Friends,
I bought a new 110 cm wooden speargun. I want to use double rubber on this gun but I need your suggestions for the combination.

Double 16 mm ruber with 6,3 or 6,5 mm spear?
OR
Double 18 mm rubber with 7 mm?

I want to use this gun for Dentex hunting. Waiting your responses

Hi Demir,
A 110 is good for Dentex, a 6,5 or 7 are the best shaft sizes in my opinion, which one to go with should be determined by the size of fish taht you are likely to find. Regarding the rubbers, you should remember that Dentex have the tendancy to stay a bit wide and have tough scales especially if you hit them at an angle, which is usually the case, plus, remember that rubbers lose power as you go deeper, so the depth that you will be fishing at will also have an effect on your guns performance if you fish deep +25 meters.

Ciao!
