Hello Jorg,

In short, no you can't freedive over there... too bad! But soon I've got some exciting news about this... :)

Are you ready to tell us about your "exciting news" about nemo33?

i'll be in belgium-bruxelles in mid july (12-29) and i would very much like to arrange some freediving sessions in nemo33?

if someone else is interested in freediving in nemo33, let me know, as a group probably they let us dive all together in nemo33.

best regards,

João Costa

Yes, filling in the details now. Few calls to make, and will make the project public in the next week.

Freediving at Nemo33

Hi,

We just freedive in Nemo33 last weekend, check it out: Freediving Moments

Hope that a freediving event can take place at Nemo33, where everybody can freedive down to the 33m pit. 8)

See ya soon down there,

João Costa

Good to hear you had some fun over there! Well, maybe your wish is coming true soon... I told in my last post that it had to wait for a week, but is it's all pretty complicated it has to wait until June 24th... and then we'll know...

The prices are 425 to 450 Eur for two days, because it's a freediving course.
I knew that nemo33 was already open to freedivers (at least I read about an organized
trip there) but with some significant depth limit.
It would be interesting to know when it's finally opened completely for all,
without having to be in a course.

You can always freedive there at 10m part. An hour session is cost about 10 euro (with membership discount).

I talked to a staff member of Nemo at the Boot exhibition just tow days ago.
They told me that there will be a course in May again.

The anouncement should be online on the Nemo page latest end of Feb. he told me...
Let´s see what will happen :)

I am very happy to see that the Nemo tank is allowing freediving again.

Fred is a great instructor and the classes should be great fun.

The tank is amazing, I was lucky enough to be the 3rd freediver to ever dive the tank thanks to Fred's connection with the owner.

It was a great experience!

If any of you out there get the chance to take Fred's course I would jump on it!
