Has anyone ever used or owned a Nemrod Classic? If you have what did you think of it, just out of interest really, I don't know why but I like the look of it................. yes I am receiving therapy:D Seriously, I have a Cressi and an Omer but the Nemrod just seems to have something about it. What did you think about it? Any experiences are more than welcome and thanks in advance.

I bought a little Nemrod 45 for my son when he was 10... mainly cos I knew he'd lose it and at £30 jobs a goodun. It was however fit for purpose and he caught his first Bass with it... which was fair exchange... Doh! He was so excited that he promptly left the tangled gun and finned 200 yards back to me with the fish in a booty bag cos I wouldn't let him have a bishop (knife). After many hours of fruitless weed searching later we ate his 3-4lb Bass on a beach fire... as I said... fair exchange and he's never lost any equipment since. Nothing wrong with a Nemrod... but would I buy another one... fraid not! Great memory tho... ta for the post!

Also nice to be reminded of them... how he managed to get his first quicksilver off the spear and into a net bag at that age is still way beyond me. His long awaited and spanking new Nemrod was the last of his concerns! £31.99 for a 3 1/2lb bass was a bit steep tho.
