Anybody know if neo sport is any good? Thinking of getting some of Amazon on sale. Thanks in advance!

For freediving? NeoSport is the economy brand of Henderson...and they are good, entry-level suits for SCUBA...not so sure about whether they have a proper freediving suit...but I have used my NeoSport 3mm for almost 7 years, and about 300 dives...has held up like a champ.

Tubs, anything with a zipper if you're diving in Canada is a waste of money.
In very warm water you can get away with one. But in any case, as a freediver, a 2-piece freedive or spearo suit is miles ahead- spend the dough.
If you ever dive in one you will never go back.

Awesome thanks for the advice guys! I think I'm going to order a two piece, would you have any recommendations for thickness? I've never tried open cell so I'm not sure how thick to go considering the Alberta water isn't getting any warmer this year [emoji14]

It depends bud. If you want to dive in shoulder season- May or October, then get a 7mm open cell 2 piece.
The alternative is a 5mm and to get a 3mm vest for colder water ie: west coast diving.

Thing is, is that the surface of the lakes here can get nice and warm but if you get to any depth it'll drop to 4C pretty fast. A 3mm is great if you're mostly on the surface and not going any deeper than 5-8 metres for the most part.

A 5mm to start with is a great suit. If you get out in colder stuff or get deep then look at a 3 or 5mm vest on top (or under if it's open rubber on both sides. Or get a 7mm.

I do have a custom 7mm Elios for sale that's in decent shape but is probably as warm as a 5mm now with all the dives on it. It's Heiwa 39 rubber, meaning it's tougher, will last longer, but not quite as warm as a Yamamoto45 rubbersuit. Brown camo with a loading pad on the chest.
If you're interested it's 100$. I'm 6'1" 170lbs.

Awesome thanks a lot! I ended up ordering a 5 from mako. Thanks for the offer Erik but I'm closer to 230 so I needed a bit more space [emoji14]
