Your assumption about "10% decrease in lung volume with depth" is way off. At 10 meters your lungs are reduced by 5
I agree,that was not correctly written. But if you check the formula, at 10m the lungs volume gets halfYour assumption about "10% decrease in lung volume with depth" is way off. At 10 meters your lungs are reduced by 50%.
Why not just get in the water and try it out? Dive until you find your neutral depth. Surely that's more accurate than a calculation?
